Nico Nov 25 @ 2:44pm. Yes, it is very much worth it to play it for free. You might have to endure some free2play restrictions, the most noticeable one being the less bag slots (3 instead of 5) but in general the free base game is basically identical to how the game was before expanions got introduced, at least content wise. No, it does not. 4. Wolftail18. • 5 yr. ago. gw2 is public to all its players online always. There are no "private" servers around as far as i know that anyone can download and mess around with. 1. enderPawn. OP • 5 yr. ago.
Question: New Account Mail Restrictions. So when the game was on sale I bought myself a second account for the cheap character slots/bank potential. Today being my 3rd day on the new account, I used a Laurel to buy some t6 mats to send on over to my main account, and I got a message telling me that new accounts can't mail money or items.
So, to summarize Yes, GW2 is worth TRYING as a F2P game. Just be aware of the limitations and absurd restrictions to the content if you plan to buy into the game. now this is crystal clear. #7. Yosuf Aug 30, 2020 @ 3:47am. Yes, give it a try.
Posted March 28, 2021. @Fueki.4753 said:Yes, it objectively is pay to win.Elite specializations are stronger than core professions and one needs to pay to use them. Expansions witch contain elite specialiations are not considered pay to win.Instead you pay to continue playing the game.
1. RixMan215. • 6 yr. ago. I have a few friends trying the trial, Trial people can’t send friend invites or party invites. They can receive them, however. 2. tobydafluffski. • 6 yr. ago. You can't add a friend but they can add you its the same as parties you can have friends and be in parties but only if a pay to play member invites you.
