Timing chains do not need changed until they break or get so loose that they jump a tooth on the chain. But if you have a timing belt instead of a timing chain, it does need to be changed before it breaks. Replace the timing belt every 60,000 miles. Severe engine damage will occur if you do not replace the timing belt every 60,000 miles.

Solution: This will be a problem with your brake discs. The Terios can sometimes go through them a lot faster than other cars, and it's not unknown for them to need replacing every 10,000kms.
