Most people says "easy to make javelins" are good, i mostly crafted 2h swords. If you go that path; find a saber-like blade part with highest damage (thats why sabers are better, they basicly have higher dmg than swords). Always craft with highest tier available, leave blade size at max but min-max stats for other parts.

It affects the people in the banner carrier’s formation. So a .05 ranged accuracy bonus, for example, u wanna throw on the person u have leading your archers. So putting heroes with banners in a formation will give all of that formation, buffs? Or does it need to be a formation leader? I also read that it has an array of effects.

Sieging is pointless. edit: a bit off the mark on some of this but the core point still stands, that waiting for a siege to finish is often a waste of time since the AI can muster half their kingdom to come after you before you've even built a pair of trebs. Siege camp mechanics are completely broken right now.
